2nd Annual Vintage Treasures Market Next Week!

Excitement is building for the
2nd Annual Vintage Treasures Market!

In case you don't remember, our first market was last year in June.  There were about a dozen of us vendors set up for a 2-day sale of our vintage treasures.  The event was hosted by the Pfarkel sisters of Junk Re{defined} and was held at the Victorian Lace Inn in St. Charles.

Well, the sale was so successful and so much fun, we decided to make it an annual event!!  This year's sale dates are Friday and Saturday, June 18 and 19.  It's easy to remember -- that's Father's Day weekend.

The BIG news this year is that Sue Whitney of JunkMartket Style will be in attendance for a book signing and to meet and greet shoppers.  Have you seen her on TV?  Maybe you saw her in HGTV.  Or, she has been on NBC's Today Show several times showing how to recycle, repurpose and reuse discarded objects.  Remember the books I won a few weeks ago from Lani's giveaway on her blog, Cottage Elements?  Well, those books were authored by Sue!  Sue will have her books for sale and will be signing them.  If you already have one or more, bring them down for an autograph!!

There are several vendors returning from last year and some new ones, too, coming from Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota.  We will have a variety of antique and vintage finds as well as unique repurposed and restyled creations to enhance your shabby chic, cottage, industrial, farm house or urban country decor. There will be plenty of garden and outdoor treasures, too.

I know a lot of times those of us in small town Minnesota aren't always able to go to events in the Twin Cities because of time and distance, and we miss out on a lot of cool events.  Well, not this time!  Our Vintage Treasures Market event is so cool that Sue Whitney is coming to our little town in our little corner of Minnesota!!!  It doesn't get any better than that, unless, as rumor has it, Lani of Cottage Elements, Gretchen of Mimi-Toria's Designs and a few other area junkers come, too!

The doors open at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, June 18. This will be an awesome event! You don't want to miss it!!
