More Trash to Treasure Auction Items

Here are a few more things I have made for the Trash to Treasure auction.

Perky potted posies in a cool canning jar wire rack.

Snowman painted on an old window screen.

Sheet music background, vintage buttons,
vintage photo mat and frame with
ENJOY Scrabble letters all mounted
in a sign holder from the old
Henry's Variety Store in St. Charles.

Sweet little angel made from a chair spring, a washer,
half a rusty candle pan and a little wire halo.

The auction is Friday at 6:00 with wine tasting and preview of auction items starting at 4:30. I have more -- just need to take a few more pictures. Oh, and wait til you see what our junkin' friends sent home with us after we met up at Gold Rush in Oronoco last weekend. You will love all of it!! But that is a post of it's own. Stay tuned!

Freelance writer Sandy Erdman had a nice article in the Rochester Post Bulletin a day or so ago about our upcoming auction. You can read it here.

Sharon, owner of the Victorian Lace Inn where the auction is held, told me today of several exciting items that have been donated in recent days. She said the newest was something donated by a man from Lanesboro who lost his wife to breast cancer. He said he thought she would like the idea of him donating to our auction. What a thoughtful way to honor her. That's just one example of the touching stories that keep us doing this year after year.

Because it is all about the cure.
