Wow, time flies and it's Gladiolus Days once again!! That means the 5th Annual Trash to Treasure Charity Auction and Wine Tasting Event is just 3 days away! I have a few projects ready to go and am still working on a couple of others.
It is always challenging to take a picture of a mirror! This vanity used to be a blond.
Here is the bench sitting on my kitchen island. It was an easy place to recover the bench.
This memo center is made from a three-paned window. One section has clips for hanging memos, pictures, etc.; the center is a cork bulletin board covered with the same toile as the bench and the third section is a pink chalk board!! There are also two porcelain door knobs for hanging things.
The sheet music decoupaged onto this tray is "A Perfect Day" dated 1909. Let's hope Friday is a perfect day for an outdoor social hour and auction to raise money for breast cancer research!
These are bottles from last year's wine tasting. We drilled a hole and added a string of teeny lights. I painted a few of them and just decorated the rest.
This burgundy bottle is the one on the tray in the picture of the vanity.
I love this one with the pocket watch. It says, "It's Five O'clock Somewhere." This will make a good souvenir of the event for some lucky bidder.
